Oral Health Month

At Imagine Dental, oral health is very important for us to raise awareness about. Did you know that near 80% of Americans alone suffer from periodontal or gum disease? That is the vast majority of the population – and that is why we unite with health care providers all over the world to raise oral health awareness in June!

Share More Time, Share More Smiles

Colgate, for the second year, has paired with the ADA to create a very special campaign. The Share More Time, Share More Smiles campaign. This campaign takes place annually in June and aims to educated families about the importance of oral health and oral care.

This year, the campaign has added a fun social media twist to the campaign by asking the public to share their smiling photos and videos on social media with the hashtag #TimetoSmile, which will benefit the ADA Foundation’s Give Kids A Smile charity. The ADA website says:

“As part of the campaign, Colgate will donate $1 to the ADA Foundation’s Give Kids A Smile program every time someone shares a photo. Liking or sharing a photo will also count towards the benefit campaign. Colgate has committed to a minimum donation of $10,000 and a maximum donation of $40,000.” (Solana)

Let’s Participate!

Here at Imagine Dental, we know our patients have some of the pearliest, most beautiful smiles around, and we would love to encourage all to participate in this months social media challenge, as we can’t stress enough how vital oral care is and how important is is to bring awareness to that fact!
